What’s on the menu?

Cantonese Roast Pork Belly, Vegan Chop Suey. I'm of Chinese descent and I've no idea what Chop Suey is but I'll make it healthful, to balance out the other fat-saturated dish.

A Recipe to End Hunger

Join the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts on April 29 for a night of fun, food and frivolity! This year's gala has a 1950's theme, so pull on your bobby socks, or plump up your pompadour and get ready to dance the night away. 

A number of area restaurants are showing their support through food: Various stations will be set up around the hall, so you can dine all night. Read on for information about each restaurant, and be sure to buy your tickets now!

Top local chefs will wow your senses with mouthwatering culinary delights. Taste delicious cuisine from some of the area’s best restaurants including:

Beverages

Berkshire Brewing Company will be on hand to pour samples of their signature local craft beer. Beer not your style? Local distributor Martignetti Companies will have a selection of wine and spirits for you to try. And if you’re in the mood for something sweet, local distributorWilliams Distributing will be mixing up root beer floats with Best Damn Root Beer and local Herrell’s ice cream. A full cash bar will also be available.

It is so important for us to support the Food Bank because of the people whom the Food Bank is supporting through their efforts. We are so happy to be able to help support those who benefit from the work that the Food Bank does.

What is the one reason people should come to the Gala?

People should come to the Gala to support the Food Bank and all of the time and effort they put into this great event. It’s important for people to support the food bank and the restaurants who will be in attendance that evening. 

What will you be serving that night?

We will be serving a Turkey Meatloaf Cupcake with Mamas Gravy and Sweet Potato. This dish goes perfectly with the 1950’s theme of the evening!

On the first Monday in December, I head out to Hope & Olive’s free Soup and Game Night. Now in its 14th year, Soup and Game Night raises money for underfunded charitable organizations in and around Franklin County.
